Anyone know where to get tickets for this?
If it's the one I think you're talking about it is then on the South West corner of Bridge Road and Southwark Street at the back of the car park marked by the blue 'P', funnily enuff, under the arches. http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=532000&Y=180000&scale=10000&coordsy s=gb They do have a website but I can't find the link at the moment. here are their details below tho. Went to a Planet Angel night there myself last summer. Very friendly and popular club. Just like the good ol' days, anything goes. Seem to remember a frizzy haired lady covered in marigolds (the glove variety) on the stage PA'ing an internet broadcast, or was that just me?!? THE ARCHES 53 Southwark Street SE1 0207 207 2980 London Bridge tube/rail/N21, N35, N47, N70 bus Open 10pm-3am Fri, Sat Admission £5-£8 With its fascinating design, The Arches somehow manages to be both stylish and seedy. Swing those flares at Friday's Seventies night (Starsky 'n' Hutch) or dress in disco gear for Saturday's Eighties night (Groove Train). © Copyright 2000 - 2002 by Wass-Up.com, All Rights Reserved -----Original Message----- From: orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Nick King Sent: 22 January 2003 20:32 To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [Orb] DJ DATES FOR ALEX PATERSON / RELEASES / ETC Well, if anyone knows the exact location, I can go and find out from the ticket office, as I work just round the corner from London Bridge now! Cheers for that - I checked them out, but it isn't actually at "The Arches"... ...However, they did guide me to another club nearby... It's at the SeOne Club (formerly Drome) at 41 St Thomas Street, London Bridge - under the arches in Weston Street! The official site is at www.se1club.com, although this isn't finished yet... And there's directions at www.seonelondon.com/map.html Tickets can be bought via Synergy, but I haven't got a contact number yet, however I have e-mailed them for more info. l8rs, Nick ;-)

That was my first assumption. The Drome was wicked - then Bagleys bought it, killed a couple of kids by turning the air-con off (remember the "dodgy pills" alert in london with deaths and a coma? originally blamed on Rolexes, but it turned out the pills were good and the club wasn't) aaaaaannyway. haven't been back there since it became SE1 so I dunno what it's like. -- "We are the Music Makers, and we are the Dreamers of Dreams." - Arthur William Edgar O'Shaughnessy
