"How do I destroy a processor ~ sticky end
Taking yesterdays views of the list we have a stong vote in favor of turning the following terrorist hacker into FBI/Homeland Security. There is clear evidence from: 1) the attached letter, 2) previous letters he wrote on http://mailman.xmission.com/pipermail/orb/ showing that he had a hatred and a motivation to hack this company, 2) His accociates have shown an ability and a willing to do what he wants, notibly a friend Bill from Hull listed a hacking code on this same list a few months before, 3) We have evidence to show that the suspects IP address has accessed Dreamhosts, 4) the suspect is planning on leaving the country for France, to avoid arrest when the hack is to take place. If something happens to the Dreamhost Server in the future they have their chief suspect and list of obviously guilty associates to be investigated! There seem to be two standards on this list, what is really the difference between this and richies claim? Don't get me wrong, I found richie a jerk as often as I found him humorous, but this guilty by association (and not evidence) and guilty before proven innocent mentality is taking over the world. I know that there is nothing I can do to change his circumstances, but it just makes me feel bad if he did loose his job over it. Hmm - I'll let you guys have the last say, I'm going to get back to the music, cheers, bbroo P.S: I wonder if richie has already made a report on this (if he was fired he must be getting pissed off by now) ************************************************************* The guilty supect wrote:

You're right, guys... If you claim to be a hax0r, then prepared to be treated like one. Incidentally, I too host with Dreamhost. They are a fuckin' open relay. Spam just proliferates through the bastards. Anyone have any good alternatives for Dreamhost, who offer similarly priced and option-filled packages, but who don't fuckin' spam me to high heaven? I get 50 emails a day, over 30 of which are spam, unless someone pisses of Kris, then I get like 100 emails a day *giggle*

www.hostsearch.com is a good resource. Usually, I email the sales dept. of a couple companies to gauge the response time as a basis for who to go with. I personally host with http://www.inamaxhosting.net/ ... But I've gotten to know those guys, and they give me top notch support. .. :| eric :| :| www.xenlab.com :| enlightenment thru evolution .. -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Brian Frick Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 4:55 PM To: What were the skies like when you were young? His accociates have shown an ability and a willing to do what he wants, notibly a friend Bill from Hull listed a hacking code >on this same list a few months before Are we assuming that knwledge is a threat? or that having the ability to carrie out an act is the same as committing an act?
There seem to be two standards on this list, what is really the difference between this and richies claim? I dont think i have ever threatened anyone... or atested to having committed an act which has breached any of the telecommunications act? nevermind conspired with others to do the same! Any information which i have passed to list members is of course purely for educational purposes.
