My favorite Orb stuff is what I would describe as "Lush." There was drifting and fading and swirling and little bits that jumped at you ("WAKE UP!"). Ultimately it was a journey through a psychic jungle. Now that is gone, left only with half assed attempts at dance floor hits or snarky annoyances. Back in tha day a new Orb album was worth a big acid party. I can't imagine actually looking forward to tripping and listening to the new stuff. Good to see some life in the old list.
