Almost an Orb record (not really but...) produced by Macca & Youth programming by Tim Bran additional programming by David Nock
Listened to it today actually. Not at all like previous Fireman projects. Folk Rock instead! On Tue, Dec 9, 2008 at 9:47 AM, Jean Christophe DERRIEN < derrien@club-internet.fr> wrote:

SWEET!

LAME! Well, that was a pleasant few hours I spent being excited about hearing this record. It was nice while it lasted! JG
The first tracks are very folk rock indeed, but the last ones are more ambient Youth stuff. At first listen, it's a strange album but I like very much "Rushes" by the Fireman. (their second album). JC
what like amorphous andogenous? the isness and the otherness?

Can't say I hear much Youth influence. It sounds like a Paul McCartney record to me. meh. On Tue, Dec 9, 2008 at 3:41 PM, Stephen Wright <steve@donsolaris.com> wrote:

A+ for 'Rushes' though. That is one great album. On Tue, Dec 9, 2008 at 9:58 PM, Stephen Wright <steve@donsolaris.com> wrote:

Hmmm. 'Rushes' is melodic, ambient, mellow. It has guitars and samples mixed with atmospheric and distant sounds.... different in my opinion. It's among my top ambient albums for sure. On Wed, Dec 10, 2008 at 4:48 PM, Stephen Wright <steve@donsolaris.com>wrote:
