hey kids -- apparently i have been at this site before. looks familiar... it is also a great source of the TeaTime sets. since RealAudio won't work through the FireWall here at the office, my only chance to listen to them is through downloading them. so first up, thanks to whoever has been doing that. secondly -- any from this year that are recommended? PJK please don't hate me because i can't type..... --- All the cool kids are doing it: HTTP://www.EvilSponge.org
What site? Where are these teatimes? URL please. (If you mean the evil sponge link then I can't find them at the mo). I have all of those posted on Groovetech so far except the latest. Each time I try and grab it with the latest Streambox I have it just gets 1.9K then is finished! Anyone else having this problem? As for good sets from this year, the latest is pretty good with some appearances from B&Ts. Open the 1.9K file in a text editor. There will be an "rtsp:" URL in it; that is the actual RA file that can be captured by VCR. Chris np: Zodiac Youth - Devil's Circus

Cheers mate. You're a diamond geezer. Feel kinda stupid for not looking at the file myself first. I can see the rtsp: link but at the moment I keep getting 'connection lost' as soon as it trys to connect on port 554 (RTSP port). I don't think the server is at capacity as I can stream other archives without any trouble in RA8. Have you come across this before? And in answer to PJ's question, you can get some input plugins for Winamp (2&3) that will play RA files and then set your output plugin to either create .WAV or .MPS files that your burning software can handle. Alternatively, there is an app called TotalRecorder that will make an MP3 or WAV out of anything streaming through your soundcard. You can set this to run at infinite speed as well so you don't have to wait for the full 2hr set.
