hi there... for some reason, the file i have is an .asf format and won't play on my windows media player - can anybody confirm that .asf files are video files? if so, i'll upload it this afternoon.... :)

i work with ASF compression at work. yes, it supports video.

it is strange that your WMP won't play it. ASF is a Microsoft format. You must have an older version of the player....

seems strange to me too - i've uninstalled Win Media Player 7 and re-installed but with no avail. You can get the Nimo 5.7 codec pack and try to install it. I use both of the Window media players to play different formats and they play ASF files. On the other hand, I need a prog or point me to a prog that can change ASF to MPG. Can you help me?
