Finally the discovery of intelligent life in the universe!
1)Yesterdays pictures from Nasa were like no other.... http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap031219.html What would you do if you were an intelligent life form that realised the restrictions of space, time and the speed of light would prevent you from ever visiting another habited planet? Of course, you would generate a large image of yourself out of a substance of your making (modified polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), that with the correct equipment could be viewed (and analyzed) from the far reaches of the universe. As they expected, we can conclude so much from this image: this alien is humanoid in appearance, it can move fast on two legs, has a longer kneck and obviously a bigger brain. It also appears to be a highly advanced, well endowed female who likes to dance and party! 2) Happy 75th Birthday Philip K Dick: His speed soaked brain wrote some incredible stories, eg, the originals for Blade Runner, Total Recall, Vanilla Sky, Minority Report, Dark City, 13th Floor, and many of the ideas stolen in the Matrix, (pity he died in 1982) np: Orblivion (another fine album) ..... "we have plenty of wood in the basement....hope santa cum's on board......." merry xmas one and all bbroo _________________________________________________________________ Get dial-up Internet access now with our best offer: 6 months @$9.95/month! http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup

And if you would like to see where they got the other half of their ideas for The Matrix from go and read William Gibson's Neuroamancer. -- ***************** ICQ - 13010621 www.billyb.org.uk *****************
