The obvious Warp Head transformation has gripped me as well. Squarepusher from Aphex was the natural transition then... well Squarepusser canceld a show and I got to see Plaid live (non laptop i think, i dunno). Was the greatest show ever.... saw Orb, Plaid, and Tool that summer/fall. All had rudimentary, silly, visuals they hand crafted. Love Red Snapper too, and Brothomstates, and Weatheral, and LFO and Blue Oyster Canada (obvious, too obvious). all of it, right down to DJ mink is good shtuff. Autechre was recommended to me years ago by people on this list. Its all good especially the Ganz Graf DVD thingy (but Confield is a turd!!!!! almost as bad as Cydonia US vers).
