new to list; quick question re: "live and unreleased" cd's
hi all, I'm new to the list, so please correct me if this is a breach of etiquette. is it cool to inquire about recordings of live Orb shows, if we are talking even trading for discs, where no money changes hands, and the end intent is for strictly non comercial, home use only listening and enjoyment? i ask this because i was fortunate enough to see the orb, and lucky enough to walk out of the venue with a pretty decent DAT recording of it. i also have a radio broadcast of the woodstock show, and i just cant get enough of these guys live! i have bought a large # of the Orbs official releases, as a matter of fact i have every cd of thiers i have ever seen in any record store that i've been in. if i didnt already have it, i would buy it on the spot. .....so, is this cool to ask about trading for live and unreleased recordings of the Orb? i only ask because i am so in love with thier music, and enjoy it so much. i am not trying to rip the band off in any way, just feed an addiction where i cant get enough of thier music. thanks for any opinions, and if this is not the forum for such discussion, i apologize in advance. on the other hand, if anyone out there has ever taped an Orb show, and it came out sweet, i'd love to hear from you. with nothing but respect~ mike ahern

Welcome to the list. I'm going through the old Emails and taking care of them 1 by 1. I've taped them 15 times as a band, taped LX dj sets 4 times, and have a bunch of 1st gen DATs I have received in trade. Gavin --- Dgowc1st@aol.com wrote:
