Hey Jason - First off - this is a really nice track. As you mentioned, some of the elements need a little more effect or texture. More specifically, I would say some of these elements could be in a more specific space. I also have two oter things I would like to add: 1) Maybe add some "grit" to some of the sounds. I can think of maybe adding some overdrive or distortion to a delay in some of the singing. 2) The bass: somehow I get the feeling it could be tweaked a little more - it seems a little "flat" to me (and I don't mean that from an EQing standpoint, more from a characteristic standpoint).
