<< Naw hes nice He just doesn't know his ass from his elbow Dunno how else to put it really >> so you are saying he is a decent human being, but somewhat clueless? is that it? or that he is a generally good guy, but he has started to believe all the hype, and thus become an egotistical bastard? i find that the later happens quite often to people... for example, Chris Brann used to hang out at college with me and a group of others. heck, i once helped throw a party when he played synthpop in a dorm room. and then when Wandue hit it really big in the UK, he became an asshole without time to deal with us peons. so i can believe that LX is difficult to deal with now.... i too met LX once -- my birthday in 1994 when he and DJ Lewis were doing a DJ tour. i was so baked, but i got him to autograph my copy of U.F.Orb, and then a group of folks all stood araound and chatted. some freakish girl gave him a gift of an elaborate painting on rolled up canvas that was "inspired by his music" and she spent a long time trying to explain it the assembled smoke-addled folks. very wierd. however, the point of the story is that i have no real impression of the man, as we didn't really get to interact. never met Thrash. dunno if i ever saw him perform either. that DJ set was the first time i saw anything Orb-ish. then i saw the 1997 tour. you were gone by the time they hit the States, right Thrashy? so, when is the Madonna thingie gonna go on tour? we could use some decent music in ATL.....
