well AA2 is full of mostly old remixes some as old as like 1990-1991 like the fischermans friend (KLF) and some not so old like 1997 Radio Babaylon. and id hardly call this stuff second rate work. AA2 seems to basically save alot of people from wearing out their super rare 12"s by listening to them and having to MP3 tracks that were pretty hard to come by. i am very very pleased with AA2, i think its serves its purpose well as a chapter in the book of orb releases. I stopped listening to it after a few weeks, but I have to say there's a few gems there: Ghostdancing, Thursday's Keeper, Terminus... but it's actually Hamlet of Kings that surprised me in the long run, it's quite a grower. Another fan waiting for the Orb to become relevant again... (Aubrey 2... barely "ok", but most of it is basically all the second-rate stuff that was excluded from the first for a reason.) >>
