So, I was wondering what music DVD's can you recommend me?? I really like to have some good concert and videos collections. I already got: Air - Videos, Underworld - Everything Everything and Massive Attack - 11 Promos. Maybe something similar?? -- == gry dodawane do czasopism ================ http://www.markolf.fr.pl == == http://members.tripod.com/markolf ======= marcolphus' discographies ==

Nope, and unlikely to ever be released in the US, since they departed London Records... Best bet is to find a region free DVD player of some description. l8rs, Nick ;-)

Portishead - NYC live thing but has promo vids/short films on. Orbital one is good too, loads of hidden stuff. Latest Lemon Jelly single has a ltd [IFXLS156DVD] version that is a DVD with two videos on....and worth the admission price. re: Lemon Jelly, anyone know if they're gonna re-release Hard Rock as a b-side like they did with Soft??

So far, Everything, Everything sets the standard for concert DVDs that I've seen, but here are some other ones I've bought and loved: Beautiful South - Munch: 27 videos, with a commentary track Lemon Jelly - Nice Weather For Ducks: second the reccomendation; and this is dirt cheap; like 3 or 4 UKP (I paid like 7UKP for the 7", CD, and DVD set) Chris

christ, you go away for a week and look what happens to your email folder ;) a bit late, but ... i recommend the laurent garnier 'unreasonable behaviour live' DVD/12" box set if you can find it, the concerts pretty cool and you get a live version of 'the man with the red face' on the 12" and if we're counting singles, the DVD version of beth orton's most recent single has a nice video to go with the two lone swordsmen mix. can't remember he name of it just now (brain utterly non-functional) and yeah, the 'nice weather for ducks' video is cool -- To conquer oneself is a greater task than conquering others. - Buddha

If this thread is still going then it's about time someone mentioned; Funki Porcini - Fast Asleep CD album & DVD for the price of a normal album http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005QJZX Very ambient. The DVD is great for those 'staring into space' evenings... -----Original Message----- From: orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of marcolphus Sent: 28 February 2003 13:01 To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] Music DVD recommendations anyone?? Funki Porcini - Fast Asleep
Thanks for the recommendation.... Gotta say that whilst strictly speaking not "music" per se, Baraka on DVD is well worth a watch [and the there are two sequels too]...but it has a soundtrack the whole way if that makes sense. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005NOMQ
Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi are two semi-prequels to Baraka that just came out on DVD a month or two ago. Naqoyqatsi, the sequel to them all was brilliant if you had a chance to see it, but not sure about it coming out on DVD anytime soon. http://www.koyaanisqatsi.org/index.php -----Original Message----- From: orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Matt Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2003 1:23 AM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] Music DVD recommendations anyone??
