Thanks for the link! That's one ad that will never get shown in the US. They might do an ad for basketball or (American) football with it but that ad is meaningless to most Americans. Sad since soccer (or the real football) is a really absorbing sport to watch. I bet it's FBS. Man I bet it was a lot of fun getting to make that song. Can you imagine having access to the original Elvis tapes? It would be almost as cool as being set free in Abbey Road with all the original Beatles multi-tracks. She Loves You yeah yeah yeah.

I still cannot find out who remixed it but I have found this interesting article which contains a link to a video of the Nike ad :-

Funny, since it's been in constant rotation on LA TV for a couple of weeks...must just be aimed at all the damn furriners here. ;P Chris (firmly convinced that most Americans recognize soccer when they see it) np: Laibach - In The Army Now / War

The biggest sport in the World. I'll miss all my DJ slots in July because of the World Cup. I'll be watching 3 and 4 games a day the first two weeks of the tournament. Go Brasil! I read where Rivaldo tore a knee ligament last week and will miss the World Cup. I believe England is missing a top player also. Smiley? I've seen every game since they started showing all the games here in the US starting with Mexico '86. Still looking for a contact to pick up a program from this years event in S. Korea and Japan. I'm only missing two since the 1960's.
