NP: Clayton's Hideout (Am Boy)
I thought the amniotic fluid might gum up the works in an in-utero PC...although I have seen a few water-cooled 'puters, so it may be possible if the technology gets really micro and momsy survived the electric hookup. BTW, the AM-Boy on unlabel is also decent and (I think) not sold out yet (it's on unlabel). Nice to see someone listening to something remotely current on here that's not the crappy trance or rock dinosaur/caricatures that have been mentioned. We all have our guilty pleasures tucked into our closets, yes, but one must discern between what stays back under the old shoes and what one continues to champion long after one is out of grade school. Hopefully. And to that point, NOBODY replied to me question concerning the new Secede CD (Vega Libre). Let me be concise - if you liked Gel-Sol (the one on em:t *is* quite an Orbish knockoff and should go over like hotcakes here), you'll like this as well. VERY this-listy. Out now on Sending Orbs. Of course, there are tons of other NEW releases which merit discussion, but we'll take it step by step...out of the past, step over that horrible rock pile (which should embarass), out of the realms of sub-par electronic music (psytrance - are you serious??) and into the 21st century. Speaking of the past, all of those rare, impossible-to-find old eps by The Black Dog are about to be remastered and released on CD by the Soma label. jeff NP: Convextion (2xLP on DownLow) Next up : Fragments (Merck) On Deck: Low-Drums & Guns (touring now)
I'll just add my "Indeed!" note to jeff's comment about Secede: BRILLIANT stuff. too bad Tryshasla is out of print. --- Agust "nemesis1" - aaj@centrum.is - http://www.rainemu.com/nemesis1
