WHAT?!!! No BoC? Well 'Music Has the Right to Children" is the best start. I defy you to listen to tracks like Roygbiv and tell me you don't feel like the first time you heard UfOrb. On 8/13/05, Stephen Wright <steve@donsolaris.com> wrote:

'Music has the right to Children' is their classic album. I'd follow that up with 'A Beautiful Place Out In The Country'.
From there, 'Twoism', and 'Hi Scores' to dip into their back catalogue. And then if you're still intrigued, get 'Geogaddi'

About the only thing EZRPM here has neglected to mention is the Few Old Tones volume #1 and #2, which are comprised of mostly works in progress from BoC's orginal demo submitted to Warp Records. You wouldn't wanna miss out on North Sea Arbeit, Mukinabaht, Alpha Rainbow, Buckie High or Rodox Video. Its a far inferior recording, but it has the charm that Orb fans might enjoy... alot more samples and 'risk taking.' Its kinda like a 60 track long Kiss EP. I, personally, think its their most raw and compelling work. I guess thats pretty much it.. unless you're a completist and need BoC Maximus, I think you'e got it all covered. The orbsessions tracklisting on the malicious damage site says Orbert is going to be on the album (thus credits to Thrash and Fripp). I wonder what they did with a 40-some minute track to make it fit. I'll email anyone the uncompressed demo if they ask off list. Its good. Only problem is that it comes in around 518 mb, making it a bit of a fist fuck . Some slsk ultraworlders were supposed to drop it down a bit for me. The system I use won't put that all in your inbox (in case you are concerned).
I have it on my FTP also. Hi Mark, Yup, it's the Orbsessions Volume 1 CD from Malicious Damage - should be good! BTW, System 7's new ambient album (utilising the name 'Mirror System') will be out around the same time - one of the tracks has been co-written with LX. l8rs, Nick ;-) -----Original Message----- On Behalf Of Mark Weston Hi all. According to HMV Japan the new Orb album has a release date for 19.10.05 Anyone have any more info; Regards Mark W
