I use Acid quite a bit but I create my own loops for it. I just wish I had an actual sampler that worked that well. My SP-808 is really neat and all but I have to distill my stuff down to sets of four loops. That is a severe pain in the ass. Worse than Thrash when he's drunk. Well, maybe not that bad. Thrash doesn't come with built in step modulators... Why would Sonic Foundry sell Acid?!?! Sony will just fuck it up just like they made my cel phone suck ass. They'll make it unstable and more expensive. Fucking Japs. The instructions will shortly be unreadable. They'll probably bring in a crew from Yamaha to write it. Back "in da day" I had a Yamaha DX-7 drum machine which was virtually impossible to use unless you had completely read the manual which was often times utter jibberish. Worse than my Roland products (I always get a headache trying to figure out the finer details). I'm thinking about getting one of those Allen & Heath Xone 646 mixers. Anyone used one? Does anyone know what the mixer is in the Groovetech studio? www.psychicreform.com Money does not equal speech. Corporations are not people. Watch your overcoat. you didn't just say fucking japs did you? crap i think you did. i'm sure all the normal japs aren't the ones ruining your cell phone. its more likely that its actually the same rich fuckers that ruin everything in the world...i think a more appropriate comment woulda been "fucking corporations." but then what do i know. im just a fucking jap. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Sorry about the cross post but this shows that acid has more than to it than just a toy! this came from the techno list.

Worse than my Roland products Yeah i second that... but worth it when you get through the learning curve. Acid and the better sequencers make making music accessible, and that should be encouraged. even crap noise is still noise (Profan, need i say more). regards bill
