I've maintained all along that BadOrb would be willing to fix their problems in the long run. Per my belief, I am glad to see the message on www.theorb.com. Very cool. Now do you guys all want to boycott Alex?
Sometimes it's better to wait and relax before spouting off in a public forum. This is just one more point of proof of such a thing.
Actually, I think it's proof of the exact opposite. I'm not convinced that if I hadn't said something, the issue would have ever come up again. In fact, the message starts out: "further to the disgruntled messages/discussions regarding badorb.com..." which indicates that this was a response to that, and not simply that they finally got around to it. That said, I am very happy that LX is making this effort. I have always said that my boycott (and I think it was just mine, no one else expressed much support for the idea) was contingent on not getting any response on this subject from LX or anyone else involved in the venture. This is exactly the kind of response I was looking for. (In fact, I've already received a response to the email I sent to the address in the message.) I don't know about anyone else, but my boycott is over. I also want to apologize publicly to Simon and John for lumping them in with this, as clearly the only Orb-ish involvment at all came from LX.
People aren't inherently bad, you know.
I never suggested anyone was inherently bad. But sometimes even good people need a kick in the pants now and then. -- Adam J Weitzman - voxpop arbitrageur
