however, one thing that i have discovered in life is this: Americans

(maybe people in general -- don't ahve enough international experience to know) HATE it when someone reminds them that they are not the smartest person around. i think most folks assume that they are on par with Einstein, and if you remind them that they are not, then they hate you. so -- stupid people (or people who can act stupid) get elected. ole 186 IQ boy would be hated for being too damned smart....

i am not endorsing this behaviour, merely observing it.
