Intersesting; I've always like this one - not the 9th but more interesting than the 5th - plus I've heard the 9th 9009 times, and find it hard to listen to without images of Alex (the other one) and crew beating people up, stabbing them, etc! If you've heard both, how does this version compare to the Telarc Digital one (Cleveland Orchestra/Christoph von Dohnanyi)? The Telarc ones are always very tight but I'm wondering if other recordings are out there with warmer sound or a particularly fiery performance or whatnot.
