This is probably not everyone's cup of tea but I had downloaded the songs that used to be available at www.twinsofevil.com and had burnt them to a disc with a bunch of Beck, System 7, and other stuff on it when they started playing while I was working. Tons of fun, especially the one that sampled Styx. There's only one song up there now but it's really good. Maybe you would let the rest of the list in on the other cuts, Kim? www.psychicreform.com Who let that monkey in here!?! Dada is dead. Watch your overcoat.
Wow, thanks Alan, you just made my day! I've got several new songs but I've been waiting until I get a real web site built and that is going really slow. It's much more fun to make music than learn html/flash and all that stuff so I'm going to find someone to help out. Anyway, the track that's up there now was done right after seeing Paul Oakenfold, so it's on the trancey side of things. I'll dig up some of the old stuff and post them this weekend. Man, I haven't heard "Oh Mama" (the Styx sampled one) in a long time. What a copyright nightmare that thing is :) -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Alan Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2003 4:42 PM To: Orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Orb] OT OT Twins of Evil This is probably not everyone's cup of tea but I had downloaded the songs that used to be available at www.twinsofevil.com and had burnt them to a disc with a bunch of Beck, System 7, and other stuff on it when they started playing while I was working. I uploaded some more songs to www.twinsofevil.com The first two tracks, "Harum Scarum" (Styx samples) and "Dance of the Damned" are older, while the last four tracks were done this year. I'm particularly fond of "When Voices Rise". If anyone checks these out (which would be awesome), I'd love to hear your thoughts. -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Alan Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2003 4:42 PM To: Orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Orb] OT OT Twins of Evil This is probably not everyone's cup of tea but I had downloaded the songs that used to be available at www.twinsofevil.com and had burnt them to a disc with a bunch of Beck, System 7, and other stuff on it when they started playing while I was working. Any mention in the Japanese press about a specific release date for the upcoming Bicycles and Tricycles? Why is it they get The Orb first? Is it simply because they're orbheads moreso than us? Just trying to think of something to say, pretty excited overall about the new album. Having been a big fan of the Mad Professor for a long time, the Madorb project should be nifty. BTW; What can you tell me about Gork? I had a listen from the most recent Fishing for Snirks, and I must say it's pretty brilliant. The new FSOL is amazing, too, in a jarring unexpected way. I never thought that FSOL would hint to bluegrass, it's refreshing and bold work. Carry on,
The album below has that track, "I Like Japan, japan is numba won." I can't seem to find a tracklisting for this anywhere, though. Anybody out there speak Japanese? -------------------------- Various Artists - Showa 64 The Sounds of the East Mixed by the West Label: Disorient 99 / Sushi CD 19
That's by a Japanese comedy troupe - Snakeman Show - who are used as interludes on the Showa 64 comp. Its out in England on Disorient - Sushi LP/CD 19. - CT bi11i wrote:

Not to beat a dead horse, but the "Japan is Number One" sample can also be found on the YMO albums X Infinity Multiplies and Kyoretsy Na Rhythm. It's by the comedy troupe listed below, but it somehow ended up on the YMO album. It's indexed along with the tune Tighten Up on my CD. I think you might have better luck finding the YMO CDs... e --- newpower@interlog.com wrote:

I've been looking more or less for the track Alex played that over during the June 28th 2001 Teatime and it looks like both the sample and the track are on that album. I just want to make 'extra-doubly' sure before I drop a wad of cash on it... -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of RadiOrb-Not just for Christmas Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2003 6:14 PM To: What were the skies like when you were young?
