Re: [Orb] yeah food
You ever eat marmite? I've had vegemite but have yet to try marmite. I hear they are pretty similar....and doing a quick google search, I see there is also promite....never heard of that stuff but it looks to be Austrailian. Personally, I found vegemite to be vile...but I hear a lot of people say the same thing about peanut butter.
mm not up on the mexican food over here as you know britain is shite for that kinda bull
I love mexican food. Couldn't live without it. ( I spelled enchilada wrong before.) Enchiladas verdes con pollo....mmmmm.
mmmm.. what chilli con carne?
Oh..it had carne...y frijoles! I had some for dinner last night with cheddar cheese and crackers (non salted, thank you very much). I think the next time I make some I will need to add about 10-15% more beans. Had plenty of heat but could probably stand to have a little more.
love lentils and indians tarka dall is a firm favourite i live in a indiian area so we have like 50,000 curry houses ere theres only two or three that are any good of course
While I'm not a huge fan of indian food, I do get a craving now and again. Haven't been to an indian place in ages. The wife is vegetarian so every once in a while we'll go to mix things up a bit. I like all types of beans...but not white beans for some reason. Now let's not get started on beer.....I think the rest of the list members might get bored. Okay.... best regards, -matt _________________________________________________________________ Get a FREE online virus check for your PC here, from McAfee. http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963
Marmite is absolutely lovely 8) http://www.marmite.co.uk/ It's one of those foods that when you ask people they have either never tried it or have a very very strong opinion about. They either LOVE it or HATE it which in itself has spawned a great promotional campaign over here. You can even get a 'I LOVE' or 'I HATE' marmite T-shirt depending on your polarity. Pretty good campaign if they can even get those who hate the product to advertise it!!! Marmite goes well; on toast, with cheese, fried eggs, making marmite swiss roll snacks (v cheap and v cool for a party). All young kids seem to smell of the stuff (and blackcurrant juice) and you can even get marmite flavour crisps now. If you have never tried it, go and buy a jar but then again, FUCK marmite, Bovril is far, far nicer and easier to spread (unless ur a veggie). OK, f'ing boring afternoon at work, back to the databases and maybe even some Orb?
