In my opinion, definitely not. I was very let down by this comp. The Orb tracks are good, be it only two of them. I haven't checked the multimedia aspect of it yet, but was hugely disappointed with the music... :-( Cool Harbor is a really great track (simple as it may be, it has a great goove), and I Am The Red Worm is fairly good, but the rest of the tracks on there just weren't doing it for me. They were strange, avante garde, trippy; just not a pleasant listening experience... I also haven't listened to CD2 yet, but was so let down by CD1 that my motivation is a bit low... Glad I picked it up on promo for $10 (half.com)
Also, a couple of people said they were disappointed by "Bless You". Curious as to what they were expecting? A new Orb album? BadOrb was
I was hoping for actually psychedelic music that was enjoyable to listen to. Not The Orb, but something of at least similar in quality. I guess I'm just picky, but I was hoping for more "WOW!" and less "eh...okay I guess..." Does that make sense? I mean it's not HORRIBLE, but I found the majority of it to be pretty mediocre.
never meant to be just The Orb, was it? Granted, there are a couple of weak tracks but overall I dig it. Aint gonna argue about track 12 tho' - it's shite.
100% agreed! Worst! Track! Ever! :-) _jason_
