Hello everyone. Just found this list, and it looks like I missed the boat on this show. Anyone able to hook me up with a copy of this? - it sounds great! Thanks. --------------------------------- Yahoo! for Good - Make a difference this year.
Yo suckas. From what I remember, the Orb was on the first track of Axiom Ambient - Lost in the Translation. Listening to the last song, "Ruins" and theres a synth/arp part at the end that sounds just like the synth/arp on Valley from Orbvs Terrarvm. Theres also some other parts on Axiom Ambient that are very similar to parts on Orbvs....they were released around the same time....just wondering if anyone had any insight into this....were they trading/sharing tracks or did the orb have more of a role in the album, or did laswell hook the orb up with some sounds? This is totally just my impression, but I always thought that the album was one big long remix by Laswell and that the tracks weren't by particular artists as such, rather it was a Laswell album that contained source material from the artists listed, but not necessarily in any order.

Don't have much insight into specific sounds used around the same era, but Orbsessions reminded me of Orbvs a lot. That Laswell album will be 9 yrs old in a week, where does the time go....
