RE: [Orb] Alex's dark star mix and space sounds
I have a file with these samples and it's labeled "Thursday Teatime 11-01-2001" from groovetech. "There is no greater joy than soaring high on the wings of your dreams, except maybe the joy of watching a dreamer who has nowhere to land but in the ocean of reality." Despair INC. "This is bomb bay no 1", "ok, lets get out of here", etc. Was it an early groovetech? breezeblock? live show? - any help would be appreciated, ta. B) I support Lazlos handling of the situation. Anyone that can't practice self control is a nuisance to the orb list community that he has created - I say spank them! Catch the tune from ex orb member thrash: http://www.justablip.co.uk/audio.html "gobacktobedamerica.mp3"...note the slug dub like background at about 4:15 C) For the Censor: the following contains orb, music references and self control. Stage 5: There's life out there - sure hope they like our music? Something to contemplate while you join me in firing up the orb n'ooka: This is it folks, the moment you've all been waiting for: Do you think mankind's perception of itself will change once there is irrefutable proof that life exists on a planet outside our own? (better contact me offlist with your answer) As predicted in "am.dream orb remix", and in "Arthur C. Clarke's "2001" series", it's all happening on Jauary 14th 2005! ESA's Huygens Space Probe (currently traveling on board NASA's Cassini spacecraft) will break through the atmosphere, viewing highlands with spectacular rivers flowing down to large lakes. It will then parachute down and hopefully land on the shore of one of these lakes. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap041124.html - radar images of Saturn's moon Titan Around (or in) this (tidal) lake will be viewed the alien life-forms that inhabit this strange new world. These should be seen carrying out the things that alien life-forms usually do? Whatever this is, it involves the production of large amounts of methane (which in this atmosphere has a predicted lifetime of only 13 years, so must be in a constant state of production).
"Titans thick atmosphere is mostly nitrogen and methane. Hydrocarbons may actually precipitate and rain down on the surface into the viscous oily rivers, puddles, and lakes, or alternatively the surface may hold lakes of liquid ethane and methane, sprinkled over a thin veneer of frozen methane and ammonia">>
Orb -sters, how amazing it would be to stand (weighing just 1/10th your earthly gravity) with Saturn's rings filling the whole sky, on a frozen shore and watch giant slow-moving waves of liquid ethane crash onto the beach. Definitely a dream vacation spot for you astronaut surfers ......."let's go surfing now, everybody's surfing/balanced on the biggest wave/orb remix ...boom, blah, twang......", on your headset..."ok, Houston I'm going to try and break right at the point and catch those big ones. D'you copy?"..beep........."copy"... http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/operations/huygens-mission.cfm I wonder if these aliens like the French music from the 90's? http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Cassini-Huygens/SEMYXC2VQUD_0.html http://www.Music2Titan.com ...by the way, are these guys (Julien Civange & Louis Haeri) any good? (have worked with air and daft punk) .........will the probe become a sacred symbol worshiped by the alien lifeforms or alternatively could these sounds be misinterpreted as a declaration of war and all the (earth originating) viruses, microbes, and bacteria (streptococcus mitis) that have been shown to survive in (and on) the probe, the advanced invasion? I recommend to everybody, everywhere - crank up the ORB and WATCH THE SKY! .....hubble......bubble....... ..........bubble.......... a mentally surfing bbroo...~~"here we go Houston. Ye haaa!"~~ ~~***~~.......~~***~~.......~~***~~.......~~***~~... _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com
