OT have any Sigur Rós live recordings?
I saw this band the other night and it's one of the few I have ever seen that sounds better live than their studio recording. They don't have many dates left in their tour and I would highly recommend checking them out. They have a very sophisticated and lush sound, and the vocals are very unique. The show was about 3 hours long too, so it's worth every penny. Would anyone happen to have any live recordings on mp3, CD, or know of any quality ones I can buy? The Vanilla Sky soundtrack has a couple of their songs: The Nothing song, Svefn-g-englar and Relax. All are excellent. Anyone have a chance to record these? They're not up yet -- Feb 13th, Feb 27th, & March 27th of 2003. (plus that damn May 30th, 2001 show...) You know I kept sending feedback and writing to Groovetech asking about some of the missing sets and broken links and not only did those mofo's not respond, but just deleted the links and any reference to them. I would pay for this service if it was kept up and reliable. Anyone else?
Oops - Is it the May 31st, 2001 show or the May 30th, 2002 show? It's the May 30th show I'm in need of. You collect these? I'm in the process of compiling some Thomas Fehlmann Radio stuff if you'd like it... -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Jeff Pitblado Sent: Saturday, April 05, 2003 12:17 PM To: What were the skies like when you were young? Not especially. I DL'd a bunch about a year ago from one of the old list FTPs (Chain Reaction IIRC RIP). I just checked and I do have files for June 27, July 11, and July 25, 2002, which don't seem to be on Groovetech anymore.
Would love the shoe upped to my ftp? Renigade.dyndns.org Youth/Youth is the login and pass.
