Matador is sort of a distributor more than a label. A lot of their stuff is quite mediocre. I've got a stack of old samplers from them I'm going to put up on eBay at some point, like when I think I've found all of them. I'll spam the list when I do. As long as we're moving in the direction of fun Japanese bands you should check out United Future Organization. VERY James Bond/spy movie sounding. Cibo Mato are a lot of fun also. Viva la Woman is kicks, especially the song "You Gotta Know Your Chicken." The bass player is Sean (or is it Julian?)
