I caught this again last night. Just walking out of the room and something made me turn to the TV. It's for Danone Shape Yoghurt and although it has many elements of and sounds almost the same as, it is just dissimilar enough to not be a proper LFC. If anyone has a fiver to spare and wants to check for themselves then I think it is the one linked off of this page; http://www.visit4info.com/Restricted.cfm?id=11535&Redirect=www.visit4info.co m/static/advert_pages/11535.cfm?back_page=advertiser_pages/DanoneShape.cfm Like who's gonna pay a fiver to watch a bunch of bloody adverts all trying to make you buy more stuff!!! Thank God we get the AD-FREE BBC over here 8) TTFN Billy -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces+billy.b=virgin.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces+billy.b=virgin.net@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Jonathan Wakely Sent: 27 May 2004 13:59 To: What were the skies like when you were young? There I was couching out in front of some TV program last night when the blurb-verts came on and then something twigged in my brain. The bed (background music) to this vert was familiar then it hit me, just like LFC but not quite.
Is this a remix I haven't heard before or was the yoghurt company too tight to pay royalties and they just decided to rip it off or are my ears full of wax? I haven't heard Alan's yet so I guess it could be this?
Anyone else in the UK heard stumbled across this yet? Would love to know if I'm right or if it's just me.
I saw an advert the other day, possibly for yoghurt, that made me say "that sounds like the orb" If I'm thinking of the same one i'm fairly sure it was a rip-off rather than a cover/mix. jon -- "The most savage controversies are about those matters as to which there is no good evidence either way." - Bertrand Russell _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb
