I think it's General Admission gig.
Each section is general admission, but your ticket limits which sections you can get into (in theory at least, who knows what might happen once the lights go down. Does anyone know what the deal with tickets was? There seemed to be a presale that I couldn't find out anything about, and then they were supposed to be on sale at 10 this morning. The actually went on sale at about 2:30.
There's a Beethoven show at 8PM the same night (3/18). So I'm not sure what time we'll be allowed in. In the meantime, I'll look around for place we could all meet up for dinner, perhaps.
There are some great but expensive restaurants nearby, and Philippe's is relatively near. Pinot Cafe (on the quad between the Dorothy Chandler and the Mark Taper isn't too bad, and is only a little overpriced...of course they will probably be closed by 10 or so.
Curious to know if they are playing once, or maybe twice like Trekroner.
Given the support line-up, I'd bet once. If anyone is thinking of going, get your tickets, this is a once in a lifetime event. I have 8 for my friends...and am dragging everyone I can along; as I keep saying, they are only going to make this mistake once, so check it out while you can. Chris
