I was climbing over some stuff in my grandma's outbuilding, slipped and fell on a kitten. I was probably six years old. It took it a little while to die. I've never been the same. I found my favorite puppy from a litter dead in the road when I was about ten. It was still warm. I drowned a chipmunk that had its back broken by my uncle's dog. I felt bad but I couldn't bring myself to whack it with a stick. There were other childhood animal deaths but those stand out in particular. I lived in the country so I've always been surrounded by animals. My dog just turned 13 and he's really getting old in a hurry. Soon (but hopefully not too soon) it'll be time for more tears and a really big hole in the ground. www.psychicreform.com Change your mind. "I'm the commander--see, I don't need to explain--I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being the president. Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they say something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation." -- George Bush _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb
