As far as i'm concerned analogue was either the best stuff or the only stuff for the job at the time. Way back when people didn't have the luxury of choice, and that's why music ended up sounding the way it did. Now that digital music technology's absolutely blown up and you can get any sound you like on a computer more or less, it's interesting that so many people are still lauding analogue as the bee's bollocks. It's a bit pathetic. Why people don't stop fetishising the technology and just write music i'll never understand.
