P J Kane pontificated:
<< Munted? >>
okay, you out slanged me again. what does this mean?
munted = to be out of ones brains on drink or drugs Guess which one I am refer-ing to. Also see; sparkled, blasted, f'ed. Reminds me, if anyone ever has course to know a foriegn student in their own country they sometimes carry a little notebook for writing down odd bits of slang they come across. At Uni me and a few mates spent a whole afternoon filling a few pages of some sexy German girl's notebook with all the slang for throwing-up, being sick, chunder, multi-coloured yawn, etc, etc. I think we were well on the way to 30-plus. How many can you get?
<< Kinda chuffed that I can get a response from this list really and personally I don't give a stuff. >>
none of us do, really. it jsut fills in time whilest wrangling with the FTP server....
Hmm, FTP server. That sounds like a much more constructive use of my time at work....
<< but then again drink really ain't my thing. >>
and yet you were railing on Am. Beer?
Bit of a strange one that. I do love beer and various forms of alcohol in all it's endless varieties but I certainly do not enjoy getting totally and utterly rat-arsed on beer. If I was only allowed to imbibe for a night it would have to be Tequila, Jager, Absinthe or any of those other drinks where it's not just the alcohol content twisting your melon man.
<< That's why Brits just love getting out of this country as often as possible. You should see the amount of You-can-have-a-much-better-life-in-any-other-country' programs on the box here at the moment. >>
waht countires do they propose?
France, if you can live with all of the natural disasters currently culling the population. The place people go when they want a new life and new country but don't really want to travel too far, can visit friends and family for the day and can still get BBC1 and Eastenders without too much hassle. Jamacia and Bahamas is gaining popularity but I still think that the Costa-del-Sol and Oz are the top two ex-pat destinations but don't quote me on that. Anyone got any foriegn offers for an electronic/network/comms engineer? I'm off to get munted now. See ya all soon on the downside... Billy
