Surely The Orb is LX. Apart from being a one time contributor, I would have though the copyright was with LX or The Orb, not Kris Weston/Thrash. Has anyone checked with LX about this?

Wow yeah I believe it. He?s a total cunt. I used to work at Apple and got him a new computer on discount (the last G4 ever made). The computer  eventually broke but it was out of warranty, and the G5 had come out at that point. So via pulling some strings I was able to get him a FREE brand new G5 as a replacement for his G4! Complete with full warranty. 
And what does he do? Calls Apple support cussing and swearing and yelling and being a complete asshole. Repeatedly. Bitching and yelling and being a complete cunt. To the point where I got in trouble at work! People wanted to know who the hell is this guy and why is he calling us screaming obscenities etc?!?!? When I confronted him on it he turned into Dickmaster General 2000 & attacked me with the same exact shit the Apple support people had described. 
I did this guy not one but TWO major fucking favors and what did I get? Shit on and attacked. You?re welcome, cunt! 
In short: fuck that guy.
