Also, for anyone interested in this sort of thing, last Thursday I was a scab worker at a local music festival. We put together a whole soundstage with only a few inexperienced volunteers.
Pretty crazy stuff.
I do hope you had some people around that knew what they were doing. Too many musicians and others have died because of this kind of thing. All it takes is one ungrounded circuit or a couple of loose nuts to electrocute a singer or drop a 100 pound can on somebody. Google "electrocuted singer" or "stage collapse."
