Haven't seen The Orb live since SMS Festival in Germany 2004, AreaOne Festival in Vancouver prior to that, both were good shows and I had a blast! From subscribing to this list since 1999, I've learnt that venue, location, scene, and crowd can have a huge impact on the show. I'm way overdue for an attendance, and dig The Dream album, and my choices for tour dates on the continent are:

Aspen,CO - Belly Up

Boulder,CO - Fox Theater

Carrboro,NC - Cats Cradle

Washinton DC - 9.30 Club

I'm based out of Edmonton, AB but unfortunately the Vancouver and Toronto shows conflict with work, and it's easier/cheaper for me to take a weekend trip elsewhere for the show than to miss/upset my work schedule.

If anybody that's in the know could enlighten me as to which show has the best chance of a good turnout, good venue, good vibes, etc. that would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards the Aspen show, but I'm worried that The Orb and Aspen may not exist on the same plane thought. If all else fails I might be forced to miss some work and hit up Commodore Ballroom in Van as I know the venue, location, and scene will be right on target.
