P.S. Is it possible to download a virus contained in/subtly attached to, an MP3 file? I had a wierd duplicating file that was filling my hard drive and that is the only place I think that it could of originated. Yes. My brother had a virus like that. It was called LoveBug or LoveLetter. It basically was turning all his mp3's into 128byte .VBS files.. Its sorta Traumatic.. ;)
But that virus was introduced to the system by an email, not an mp3. Once introduced, it affects mp3s (and other formats), but it doesn't come from the mp3 (although the buggy winamp version might allow a dodgy mp3 to introduce a similar virus)
Switch to linux and it'll solve all your virus and security issue's.. ;) And NO ADD's or popups..
Stick to vinyl instead of mp3s and you're even safer! Bloody computers, never trusted 'em in the first place ;) -- I would like to suggest that you not use speed, and here's why: it is going to mess up your heart, mess up your liver, your kidneys, rot out your mind.
