Well, if it is indeed a remastered version, in the sense that a mastering engineer took the original mixes and reworked it with eq and compressor tools then it shouldn't sound all too different if it is done correctly. I guess the differences will lie in the very subtle regions. So that is a good thing i would think. It would be horrible if they had overdone their job and compressed the hell out of it (which is popular nowadays: to sound as hard as possible).
