Who knows what those visual/audio records were, you slid into a slot.
Those would be "Video Discs"... catchy name huh?
Video discs though, what are they? Someone did remember em.. They are different than laser discs then right? I remember they almost resembled vinyl. I swear those were the wierdest things, and I can't believe they had DTS and shit waaay back then.

For most of the years the disc were available the sound was analogue followed by the digital AC-3 format and then by DTS. They were way superior to VHS and even the very original batch of DVDs though DVD technology has greatly surpassed them now.
What ever happened to those 'gold' CD's they released. My buddy swore his darkside of the moon on 24Karat sounded better. I used to have a sampler from Oldsmobile or something on gold, it was just louder I thought. Whats the technical reason for this? And who the fuck wants an SACD or 24karat disc, isnt 5.1 good enough? I don't know not of these things. Non-audiophile, more like fecalphile... _________________________________________________________________ Scope out the new MSN Plus Internet Software optimizes dial-up to the max! http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=byoa/plus&ST=1
