Awesome!!! Thanks for the navigation tips. That site is so convoluted I never would have found the link. The studio stuff sound more like a cross between Spirtualized, Postal Service, and a little Sigur Ros. I'll definitely pick up a copy. ________________________________ From: orb-bounces+dgagen=ensemblestudios.com@mailman.xmission.com on behalf of OldKing Sent: Tue 1/4/2005 7:12 PM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Orb] RE: Somewhat OT - The Earlies Sorry for the broadcast, but I have been unsubscribed from this for the last few, ahem, several years... I saw this in the archive, and I don't have the poster's address. Anyway...
I found a very cool DJ set on their site. In some ways it reminds me of Alex's live sets. I want to buy their album, but I want to make sure that the studio stuff is as good. I tried all the obvious places looking for song samples like Amazon, the bands site, etc... Anyone know where I can listen to the tracks before I buy? Full MP3's aren't necessary.
BTW here's the link to the live set.
Don, You may have seen these already, but they arent obvious... go to the earlies site http://www.theearlies.com/ click on "Enter the Earlies" in the bottom right after the animations etc, click "PEEKS" in the top center... turn the ambient page sounds "off" in the top right click "Sounds" now three of the proturbences of the flowerish tube worm thingy will pop up hi-fi full length songs if you click upon them -- oldking _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com
