A little word of warning to anyone setting up wireless data in their house/office, be it Open-Air or 802.11whatever. Please, please make sure you enable the highest level of WEP encryption, refresh your keys regularly and set up a white list of allowed MAC addresses and IPs in your system and filter out EVERYTHING you do not need. I have been working with wireless data systems for over six years now and you would not believe how crap the security is on these things and the amount of open networks there are all over the place, personal and company, that are leaking usernames, passwords and access to data into the domain of Joe Public with a cheap laptop and £50 WLAN card. Go Google 'war chalking' if you haven't heard of it already. And for a real eye-opener into how it really works, this is a real good article; http://www.iss.net/wireless/WLAN_FAQ.php Have fun. Hope I didn't scare ya too much. Anyone got any Orb news this week? Billy np: Infected Mushroom - Converting Vegetarians <-- Highly recommended
