The Phish crowd is not like the Dead crowd in my experience. As much as I loathe "Deadhead" culture and really could give a crap for Dead music, their fans were peaceful and generally self sufficient, and smelled of patchouli. Phish fans largely consist of rich, white kids with a Maxima, Doc Martens, several thousand dollars worth of shit stuck through their skin but they've got the audacity to beg aggressively and generally smell like shit. I fucking hate them. Things may have changed over the years but I'd just as soon go sleep under the Interstate near here where the bums have their little villages than be in the same room with a fucking Phishhead that's been "following" them for a few weeks. It's a shame because I can stand to listen to Phish's music while if I hear "Driving that Train" one more time I'm going to kill somebody. I'd prefer Ozric Tentacles any day of the week or Dixie Dregs or Steve Hackett or... www.psychicreform.com Who let that monkey in here!?! Dada is dead. That's a big `difference, personally as a Phish fan who has never liked the Dead I think `the music of the two bands is pretty different. The scenes however are very `similar and I think that more than anything is what connects the two bands.
