I was surprised to see Steve Hillage's name in the end credits for the movie "Black Hawk Down". Steve worked on Rachid's track "Barra Barra" which is from the "Made in Medina" album.
I know Steve has done a lot of production work for Rachid over the years (the albums "Made in Medina", "Diwan" and "Ole Ole" for instance). He also played on those albums and has also done some remixes on some of Rahid's singles.
Of all this work, what falls under the "System 7" umbrella? There is the 12" remix of "Non Non Non" that's listed as a "system 7 remix". Is anything else an 'official S7' remix? I have the 'Ya Rayah' CD5 and it has remixes by Hillage, not S7. Is the remix on the "Ach Adani" 12" considered S7 or Hillage? Any others hiding out there?

-- I mentioned on the list a while ago everytime I found an Hillage / System 7 remix for Rachid Taha or for other people. I'm a little bit lazy today to check my 12"s, but I can assure you that the Non Non Non remix is DEFINITELY a System 7 remix. It is listed as such and is very SYSTEM 7-Like. JCFromParis
