With regard to the sessions of system 7 Oh ho ho ho 'steve, have a banana' Was I think the highlight of the sessions... That and the 'ping-pong delay' cracked me up Fast forward was a great session actually... Large couch in front of the mixing desk Mixing jimi hendrix style with my feet upside down at one point I liked the anarchic ambient angle... Odd but it took me three shelves before "777" leapt out at me. I didn't hear this album until it was released by Caroline over here and was completely floored by it at the time. I had already arranged acid trips around listens to a couple of Orb albums (and a select other group) and didn't really grasp at the time how interwoven that 777 album and the early Orb was. There is so much joy in the performances and depth in the mix... I can only imagine the sessions must have been something incredibly cool. This is one of those albums I've studied closely trying to figure out how it was done and that's because it's pretty obvious on most recordings. I'm missing Burning Man once again.
