Saw the new "Director's Cut" of "Donnie Darko" Saturday night. It was almost a remix. The first song was moved to a different scene. The second song was different. Different chapters of the book "The Philosophy of Time Travel" by Roberta Sparrow were superimposed throughout. Some CG added. Several scenes were extended and a conversation between Donnie & his father was added. I need to see it again to decide which version I liked better. Did anyone else catch a viewing of this & have an opinion? I also saw "A Home at the End of the World" with Colin Farrell, Robin Wright Penn, Sissy Spacek, etc. I thought it was really good although the sliding glass door scene kind of freaked me out for reasons some list members probably remember. Both come recommended. John Wintemute
