A little off topic so I’ll keep it short and simple.

The tour kicked off in Vancouver B.C on the 8th which I miss but I caught the show in Seattle last night and I must say, if the tour comes anywhere even remotely close to you, catch it!!

Ben Stokes from DHS (also collaborated w/ Emergency Broadcast Network ages ago) was on hand for what I though pre-tour to be a video show for MBM, boy was I wrong!   The main set and encore was EBN style using video clips as beat-loops and samples to the over-all performance using four projector’s, four apple laptops (three for video) and a full electronic trap set (drum kit). Surprisingly at least one song from each major release was played to include ‘Hello Teenage America’ which was only played on their very first tour only this time it was quiet a major re-mix lasting 8+ minutes. So between the mix of previous hits plus four tracks from the new album, there was something there for the new and old fans alike.

The set overall was about an hour and a half total and was opened by Dub-Trio (from N.Y) who did a very nice (but a tad redundant) set.

Cheers
