I agree on the flexibility issue also. I screw my comp up so often by running progs that I get to test, I understand that problem. I am about to run a virtual machine to fix that problem:) RMStringer " You Have No Conscience And IT Seems You Never Will" Nothing Stays - Cyberaktif -----Original Message----- From: Levering, Steve [mailto:orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Levering, Steve Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 9:56 AM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [Orb] Copyleft I probably wouldn't buy songs in this format. There are several different computers at work/home that I listen to music from, and I would find this too restrictive. A few years ago, I paid for some songs in Liquid Audio format (? not sure if that's the right name). They would only play on the computer I downloaded them to. I lost access to them when I upgraded my operating system... Not trying to be a naysayer or anything... But flexibility is key for me... -----Original Message----- From: themode2k [mailto:themode2k@yahoo.co.uk] Sent: Fri 11/1/2002 9:35 AM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Cc: Subject: Re: [Orb] Copyleft
if it allows people to burn the image to cd then its an good idea - since HD-space often become a problem for me. the image stays on the HD and is the same size as a cd (max 82min) can be burnt back 2 CD but still only played on the DL comp... Hmmm... ?
