from the way I remember it, no one contacted thrash about orbsessions & it was pretty close to coming out with orbert, something he had worked on over a decade ago. understandably upset, he wanted anything he was involved w/ off.
wow, I can't believe it. he told me to keep my mouth shut about that some time ago... but it actually came off. remind me to never doubt him again, because i thought he was just getting upset and nothing was gonna actually change. I thought if he was at least getting paid, that I didn't agree with putting up a stink.. and last i checked, everything he's done for them was over a decade ago. why would it be any different than uf.off? from a pure musical standpoint though, i'm glad its off. how the hell you gonna take a 40 some minute song and make it fit on that album without compromising the work?
