No the mixes sound nothing alike, but I wouldn't put it past LX that all the tracks are from the same source. Perhaps BOB 4.5 has "recognizable" samples and BOB 2 doesn't or vice versa.

Hmmmmmm I must've missed that discussion. My theory was that they'd planned
to release what ended up being BOB4.5 as BOB2, but then when they "got the
rights" (or whatever) for the Ayumi stuff they substituted that for BOB2 and
made the other tracks into the bonus, non-existent BOB4.5.
Recall that tracks from 4.5 were included in LX's BadOrb promo mix, whereas
neither Ayumi mix was. Plus, there was always something fishy about the
stickers on the 4.5 records. Plus, didn't 4.5 have the same BOB
animal/satellite character as 2?
I never considered the possibility that the tracks on 4.5 were more Ayumi
mixes...? Do they really sound at all similar?
