On first listen I like it, although I think I hear some of the
guitar work does sort of wander off on its own a bit, but I haven’t heard
it enough times to form an opinion.
Bagdad Batteries is really great. I think it does sort of have a
sound like Orbvs Terrarvm with a drum machine.
The packaging is great, as always from MD. I can hone my
long-neglected lemon-battery-making skills.
The vinyl is worth the purchase if you like the CD. It has a
Dolly Unit remix the digital versions don’t have.

I
had a good long listen to the album and overall i am pretty impressed.
Strangely enough though i think that Gilmour's stuff is not always blending
well with the other background music. But that's just my opinion. I would give
this one a 7plus.
I also finally got the Bagdad Batteries CD. I am beginning to like this one!
The first track is my favorite as it sounds a bit like the old Orb sound from
around 94/95: over the top dubby etc..
