Actually, it's the "foil" part that's the fun part! I've gone both ways across the Channel, once on the hydrofoil, once on the regular boat (too choppy for the hydro on the way back). Hydrofoil was 45 minutes. Ferry was 4 hours. Plus you get to see the White Cliffs! Steve. slugdub@gmail.com wrote:
